That other hard thing

We went to the doctor for Cheri's first checkup last Monday. Everything looked fine until he started looking for a heart beat and found nothing. To our sorrow, it appears that baby's heart has stopped beating.

We are saddened to think that baby will not join us as part of our family. We know that it's ok and that things turn out the way they are supposed to turn out. But we will still miss our little baby.

My heart aches for you Cheri and David when I read this blog.
Losing a baby is such a hard thing. I so wish I could have been there to be with you during this time. We love you so much!

Dave & Cheri,

We are so very sorry for your loss. We can't imagine what you are feeling and going through. We hope that Cheri's recovery is going well and that you are both doing okay. We're so sad that we're not closer to help you through this. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do or even if you just want someone to talk to. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
