I haven't mentioned it in quite a while so I thought I would give an update on my progress towards getting my PPL. The good news is that I haven't crashed and died yet. Yay!! Though I probably owe most of the credit for that to my in-laws who have told me they pray their daughter won't be a widow in the near future.

I am actually getting really close to being done with the training. I passed all my written examinations on the first try except for one. And now with the written portion out of the way, the only thing remaining is hours and the final skills test. I currently have about 40 of the 45 required hours and hope to get the remaining 5 within the next two weeks. Then all I have left is the skills test and I will finally have my license.

We are looking forward to flying to some fun destinations after I am all done.
