Cheri Tieken and David "Buzz" Carlson first met swing dancing at BYU in Provo, UT. Nothing happened between them (besides dancing that is) until months later when they lived in close proximity to one another. "Hanging out" with just the two of them quickly became a nightly ritual late in the evening after classes, study groups and (in David's case) work and club presidency responsibilities.

It began with flirtatious texting, then dinner made by David himself, then dancing in David's living room...How could a girl resist? But it was more than that. There was David's playfulness, his mischievous grin and boyish smile, his natural sweetness and his irresistable good looks. And, it just happened to be right.

Cheri and David were married on July 15, 2006. Thus, CheBuzz was loosed upon the world.
